SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Nottingham Pay Rate: £95 - £110 per day (dependent on experience) Employer: Aspire People Aspire People are currently recruiting a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work in schools across Nottingham. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with special educational needs and help them achieve their full potential. The Role: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of special educational needs (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties) Support pupils both academically and emotionally within the classroom Work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to implement tailored learning strategies Encourage positive behaviour and promote an inclusive learning environment Assist with personal care where required (depending on the setting) Requirements: Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN (essential) A patient, caring and resilient approach Strong communication and teamwork skills A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) Why Work with Aspire People?
