This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands‑on, field‑based experience who is keen to build a long‑term career with full training provided. What you’ll be doing Attending customer sites across the Midlands and Yorkshire region from a Nottingham base Installing, servicing and maintaining specialist equipment (full product training provided) Working largely independently, managing your own diary and travel Completing basic paperwork / reports to a good standard Providing a professional, customer‑focused service on site Occasional overtime to support peaks in workload What we’re looking for You don’t need to be a fully qualified engineer – but you must be practical, reliable and comfortable working on your own. Ideal background/experience might include: PAT / CAT testing, gas meter checking, or similar field inspection / testing roles General field service, maintenance or installation experience Experience working on construction / commercial / industrial sites Key requirements: Based in or near Nottingham (or realistic commute) Full UK driving licence – ideally clean, but up to 3 points considered Comfortable travelling across Nottingham, Derby, Sheffield, Rotherham, Leeds and surrounding areas Mature approach, able to manage your own workload and diary Happy to work some overtime where needed Desirable (not essential): CSCS or ECS card Previous field service / engineering experience Package & Benefits Salary: up to £30,000 (typical hires £28–30k depending on experience and location) Company van provided, with personal use option Pension Paid overtime (currently worked on a time‑and‑a‑half / double‑time structure) Full training on all equipment and processes Work with a stable team with long‑serving engineers How to apply If you have practical, hands‑on experience in the field and are looking for a stable role with full training, please apply today with your CV.
