TIG Welder Location: Titchfield, Hampshire Contract: Initially until December 2026 We are currently recruiting one experienced TIG Welder to join our Aerospace client based in Titchfield, Hampshire. This is a long-term contract opportunity running initially until December 2026, working within a high-precision aerospace manufacturing environment. Working Hours Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am - 4:15 pm Friday: 7:30 am - 11:30 am PAYE Pay Rates First 12 Weeks Basic: £18.09/hr (£20.72 inc. holiday) Overtime: £27.13/hr (£31.07 inc. holiday) Sundays: £36.17/hr (£41.43 inc. holiday) After 12 Weeks Basic: £18.64/hr (£21.35 inc. holiday) Overtime: £27.95/hr (£32.02 inc. holiday) Sundays: £37.27/hr (£42.69 inc. holiday) Role Overview - TIG Welder As a TIG Welder, you will be part of a skilled production team responsible for manufacturing Aerospace bellows and gimbals from raw material through to final assembly and dispatch to the customer. The role involves high-precision welding and assembly operations to strict aerospace quality standards. Key Responsibilities Manufacture bellows and gimbals from raw material to finished aerospace components Carry out TIG welding on thin-gauge and high-tolerance aerospace parts Perform seam welding, brazing and aluminium welding where required Support gimbal and bellows assembly Use hand tools, lathes and welding equipment as required Carry out testing, inspection, and support NDT and X-ray processes Follow SOPs and engineering drawings to ensure full compliance with specifications Take responsibility for the quality and performance of all products within your approved capability Participate in 5S, Lean manufacturing, and 8D problem-solving activities Essential Skills & Experience Proven TIG welding experience within Aerospace, Motorsport, Nuclear or high-precision manufacturing Ability to work to very tight tolerances and fine detail Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Experience working to SOPs and quality-controlled environments Willingness to obtain and maintain a "stamp" to sign off completed work Ability to understand Production Acceptance Test requirements and test set-ups Strong team player with a proactive approach to problem solving High attention to detail and a strong quality mindset Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK freely, adhering to ITAR restrictions
