HGV Technician Location: Bristol Salary: £18.70 – 20.28 Depending on shift Shift Pattern: Various shifts available   Job Overview for the HGV Technician We are recruiting an experienced HGV Technician to join a professional fleet maintenance operation. This role is ideal for a qualified technician with strong diagnostic skills and a safety-focused approach to vehicle maintenance.   Key Responsibilities of the HGV Technician Diagnose and carry out vehicle repairs, servicing, and parts replacement Identify vehicle faults and specify correct repair methods and parts Carry out vehicle road testing to confirm defects or successful repairs Ensure full compliance with all HSE legislation and company policies Follow all relevant Standard Operating Procedures at all times Maintain and develop technical skills as requiredRequirements of the HGV Technician NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent Previous experience working on HGV and/or PSV fleets Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capability Good understanding of safety and compliance standards Reliable, methodical, and able to work independentlyIf you are interested in the role of HGV Technician apply with your CV or contact us for a confidential discussion.
