QA/QC Engineer

QA/QC Engineer – Data Centre Project (Limerick, Ireland) €80,000 – €85,000 + Package Location: Limerick, Ireland Contract Type: Fixed-Term Contract (12 Months) We are currently seeking a QA/QC Engineer to support the delivery of a major data centre project in Limerick. This is a site-based, fixed-term role working with a leading contractor on a technically complex, fast-paced build. The role will focus on quality assurance, inspections, documentation, and handover, ensuring all works meet project specifications and industry standards. Key Responsibilities • Implement and manage the project QA/QC systems in line with contract requirements. • Conduct inspections and audits across MEP and CSA works. • Review ITPs, method statements, and quality documentation. • Track NCRs, snags, and corrective actions through to close-out. • Coordinate with construction, commissioning, and subcontractor teams. • Ensure all installations comply with specifications, drawings, and quality standards. • Support project close-out including QA files, O&M manuals, and handover documentation. • Maintain accurate records and reporting of quality performance. Skills & Qualifications • Engineering qualification or relevant trade background. • 3–5 years’ experience in a QA/QC role on large construction projects. • Data centre, pharmaceutical, or industrial project experience preferred. • Strong understanding of QA processes, inspections, and documentation control. • Excellent attention to detail and reporting skills. • Confident working in a site-based, fast-paced environment.
