Electronics Design Engineer – Industrial Safety Systems Full-Time, Permanent We're hiring on behalf of an innovative Swedish technology company developing cutting-edge safety and sensor systems for demanding industrial environments. This is an opportunity to join a well-established, R&D-driven team that is pushing the boundaries in industrial electronics – blending real-time safety, sensor data, and embedded intelligence into robust field-ready products. You’ll work from concept to production, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams covering embedded software, mechanics, and testing. What You’ll Be Doing As part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team, you’ll be involved in: Designing and developing analogue and digital electronics – including schematics, component selection, and PCB layout Working on signal processing, sensor interfacing, A/D conversion, and filtering Supporting embedded developers with driver-level firmware for custom hardware Evaluating and debugging prototypes in well-equipped in-house labs Running simulations and basic calculations for EMC, power, and thermal behaviour Preparing BOMs, technical documentation, and contributing to test procedures Participating in hardware validation, verification, and occasional production support You’ll be working in a stable, collaborative team with a long-term view of product development and technical excellence. What We’re Looking For We’re open to both early-career engineers and more experienced developers. We’re especially keen to hear from people who have: Practical experience with analogue/digital electronics and PCB design A good understanding of signal integrity, power systems, and communication interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, etc.) Hands-on lab and troubleshooting skills using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies Basic experience in firmware (C/C++) for embedded systems is a plus Experience with EMC considerations or designing for compliance is a strong bonus Background & Skills Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Engineering Physics, or similar – or demonstrable practical experience Fluent in English (Swedish is a bonus) Familiarity with Altium, KiCad, or similar PCB design tools Bonus points for personal projects or open-source hardware involvement If interested, please apply directly through our website or via the job board and a member of the team will be in touch
