Lead AV Engineer North England £30,000 - £34,500 + bonus Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Lead AV Engineer to oversee the installation of audio-visual solutions for commercial and public sector clients across the Northern regions of England. This role involves leading installation teams, managing client communications, and ensuring high-quality delivery of AV systems. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage teams of contractors on site to ensure smooth project delivery. Act as the primary point of contact on site for client enquiries and concerns. Maintain regular communication with the operations team regarding progress and any issues encountered on site. Assemble AV racks, ensuring all cabling is clearly labelled and organised tidily. Carry out first and second fix installations of sound systems, video equipment, and AV control systems. Conduct thorough site surveys to assess installation requirements. Perform pre-commissioning tasks including firmware updates and equipment preparation for final commissioning. Travel and work away from home as necessary. Comply with all health and safety policies and procedures at all times. Candidate Requirements Minimum of 1 year’s experience installing AV systems in commercial or public sector environments. Experience with AV control systems such as Crestron, Extron, Biamp, Poly, and Cisco is highly desirable. Willingness to work evenings and flexible hours when required. Ability to pass an advanced DBS check, demonstrating a clean criminal record. Full UK driving licence. Package Salary: £30,000 - £34,500 per annum, depending on experience (DOE).
