Senior Mechanical Project Manager – Data Centre Projects (Dublin | Hybrid)€120,000 – €130,000 + Benefits A world-class engineering contractor—renowned for delivering some of Europe’s most complex hyperscale data centres—is seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Manager to take a key leadership role on major mission-critical projects from their Dublin operations base. As Senior Mechanical Project Manager, you will lead the full mechanical scope on a major hyperscale development, ensuring world-class delivery across safety, quality, programme, and commercial performance. This is a high-impact position for someone ready to operate at senior leadership level with significant future progression. Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage the complete mechanical package on a major hyperscale data centre • Oversee installation quality, programme performance, safety compliance, and commercial tracking • Drive sequencing, productivity, and delivery across all phases of mechanical installation • Manage interfaces with design teams, commercial teams, the client, and specialist subcontractors • Lead technical reviews, resolve engineering challenges, and ensure design accuracy • Produce structured reporting to project leadership and senior management • Support commissioning readiness, SAT/FAT coordination, and final handover About You • 5–10+ years’ experience delivering mechanical packages on data centre or mission-critical projects • Strong background with major contractors (MEP/data centre/industrial/advanced manufacturing) • Deep technical understanding of chilled water systems, HVAC, AHUs, pipework, plant rooms, mechanical distribution, etc. • Strong leadership with the ability to influence teams and drive delivery • Excellent communication, reporting, and stakeholder-management skills • Based in Dublin with ability to travel occasionally to European project sites • Full right to work in the EU What’s On Offer • €120,000 – €130,000 salary + benefits • Hybrid working model, Dublin-based (minimal travel compared to rotation roles) • Opportunity to manage flagship hyperscale data centre programmes for global tech clients • Long-term progression within a high-performing international contractor • Exposure to cutting-edge mechanical engineering, major-scale delivery, and rapid project cycles
