Electrical Engineer

Location: Central London (Foot Mobile Role) Salary: £45,000 Contract Type: Full-time Start Date: Immediate We are working with a leading service provider who is seeking a dependable and experienced Foot Mobile Electrical Engineer to join our team, delivering high-quality maintenance and repair services across a portfolio of commercial buildings in Central London. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys variety, independence, and working in a fast-paced city environment—without the need to drive. Key Responsibilities: Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across multiple commercial sites, travelling on foot or via public transport Diagnose electrical faults and carry out safe, effective repairs Complete minor installations, upgrades, and remedial works Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and company standards Maintain accurate job records, reports, and compliance documentation Provide excellent customer service while representing the company across high-profile London sites Requirements: NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Experience in commercial building maintenance (FM background preferred) Strong fault-finding skills and ability to work independently Professional communication and customer-facing skills Comfortable navigating Central London without the use of a van What We Offer: Competitive salary + overtime + call-out allowance Travel expenses covered (Oyster or travel card provided) Uniform, tools, and PPE Ongoing training and development Opportunity to work across premium London buildings with a supportive team If you’re an organised, customer-focused engineer who thrives in a city-based role, I would be keen to discuss further.
