HGV Driver – 8-Wheel Tipper & Seasonal Artic Bulk Tipper Work Location: Just outside Banchory Hours: Full-time Start: ASAP Activus Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well-established Farm & Estate company based just outside Banchory. In addition to agricultural operations, our client manages haulage requirements year-round and is now looking to add an experienced HGV Driver to their team. This role offers the potential to move into a long-term staff position for the right candidate. About the Role The primary responsibility will be operating an 8-wheel tipper, with additional artic bulk tipper work for grain during seasonal periods. This is a steady role with the benefit of being home every night. Key duties include: * Daily operation of an 8-wheel tipper * Seasonal artic bulk tipper work for grain transport (Class C+E required for artic work) * Safe and compliant operation of all vehicles * Completing delivery and collection tasks efficiently * Basic vehicle checks and reporting maintenance issues * Supporting farm and estate transport needs as required Requirements * HGV Class C licence (essential) * HGV Class C+E licence (highly advantageous for artic work) * CPC and Digital Tachograph * Previous experience driving tippers preferred * Good reliability, communication, and safety awareness * Ability to work independently and as part of a small team What’s on Offer * Competitive pay (DOE) * Potential progression to a permanent staff position * Varied work across the year * Supportive and established team * Home every night * Stable and long-term employment with a respected estate business If you hold the relevant HGV licence and are looking for a consistent, varied driving role with excellent work–life balance, we’d love to hear from you
