Production Manager

Production Manager – Food Manufacturing I am working with a leading food manufacturer in Bedfordshire, supporting them with the recruitment of a hands-on Production Manager to lead their day-to-day manufacturing operations and help drive a safe, efficient, and high-performing production environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys leading people, improving processes, and maintaining high standards within a busy food production site. What You’ll Be Doing * Leading and supporting the production team, ensuring everyone works safely and effectively. * Keeping processes running smoothly — staffing, planning, training, and performance management. * Monitoring output and efficiency, identifying improvements, and driving continuous change. * Maintaining strong hygiene, quality, and food safety standards. * Supporting audits, reducing waste, and helping the site hit key performance targets. What We’re Looking For * Experience in food manufacturing or a similar production environment. * Experience working with BRC * Holds HACCP level 3, food safety level 3 and IOSH * A confident people manager who can motivate and develop a team. * Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment. * Safety-focused, proactive, and comfortable working on the production floor. * Able to lead projects and build strong working relationships. * Willingness to travel to customers when required.
