EHV Technical Lead – Hyperscale DataCentre You must have the right to work in the country you are applying for Extremely High Voltage (EHV) Technical Specialist Hyperscale Datacentre — Client-side Consultancy My client is seeking an EHV Technical Specialist to oversee, validate, and assure the delivery of 220kV–400kV substation and transmission-level systems for a hyperscale data centre project. This role requires deep utility-grade expertise, advanced safety competency, and experience working on grid-connected EHV infrastructure, far beyond typical HV project scopes. In this role, you will: Lead and assure the design, installation, testing, and energisation of EHV systems (220–400kV). Oversee grid interface works, relay protection schemes, and utility-side integration. Validate EHV commissioning plans, switching sequences, and safety documentation. Coordinate with TSOs / DSOs, OEMs, and specialist EHV contractors. Ensure compliance with transmission-level standards, protection coordination studies, and critical safety protocols. Troubleshoot complex issues on transformers, GIS, protection relays, and EHV controls. We’d love to hear from you if you: Have proven experience on grid, transmission, or large substation projects at 220kV+. Understand EHV protection systems, insulation coordination, earthing, and system stability. Have strong experience working with utilities, switching programs, and live-system risk management.
