Town Planner Location: London Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a respected and growing planning consultancy in their search for a Town Planner to join their London office. This is a great opportunity for a Town Planner to develop their career within a supportive consultancy environment, working on a diverse range of planning projects across residential, commercial and mixed use developments. The Role As a Town Planner, you will support the delivery of planning projects from early-stage advice through to determination and beyond. Key responsibilities include: Preparing and managing planning applications and supporting documents Undertaking site appraisals and planning research Assisting with appeals and Local Plan representations Liaising with local planning authorities, consultees and clients Monitoring planning policy and legislative changes Supporting senior planners on a variety of projects About You The successful Town Planner will have: A degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning or a related subject Experience within a planning consultancy or local authority Good understanding of the UK planning system Strong written and verbal communication skills The ability to work both independently and as part of a team A proactive and organised approach Why Apply?
