Trainee Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Glossop Circa £35,000 DOE + Overtime (1.5x) + 24 Holidays + Bank Holidays + Development Opportunities Monday to Friday 07:00 to 15:30 Trainee Mechanical Maintenance Engineer required for an industry leading manufacturer. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone from a mechanical background looking to pursue a career in maintenance within a company who has invested heavily in machinery on site. They are committed to employee development through external training and progression. This role would suit a mechanically biased engineer with experience from any industry. You will hold a relevant engineering / technical qualification. The successful candidate will be joining a small but growing engineering team responsible for carrying out PPMs, repairs and project work across the company’s Glossop site. The Trainee Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Role: • PPM and servicing of machinery • Reactive repairs when required • Project work – new machinery • Working with moulding machinery, hot wire cutters, granulation systems etc. • Working with steam, boilers, hydraulics and pneumatic The Trainee Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Candidate: • Mechanically biased or multiskilled engineer • Hold a relevant engineering qualification • Any industry background
