Job Title: Architectural Technologist Location: Wrexham Salary: £27-35,000 About the company: A forward-thinking and technically driven architectural practice is seeking a dedicated Architectural Technologist to join its growing team. Benefits Competitive salary, pension scheme and life assurance Private healthcare and wellbeing initiatives Support for professional growth with tailored training and development Agile working policy supported by modern technology Regular social events and team-building activities Convenient office location with good transport links and amenities, including cycle facilitiesDaily Duties Lead the technical design and documentation of projects across all stages of the construction lifecycle Use Revit, BIM workflows, and tools such as NBS Chorus to produce detailed models, drawings, and specifications Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to deliver fully integrated technical solutions Contribute to or lead work across RIBA Plan of Work stages, from early concept to contract administration Apply knowledge of both traditional and design & build procurement routes Ensure compliance with building regulations, technical standards, and contractual requirements Mentor junior colleagues, delegate tasks, and support effective resource managementIdeal Candidate Minimum several years post-qualification experience, ideally with some project leadership exposure Strong proficiency in Revit and good understanding of BIM processes (NBS Chorus experience beneficial) Excellent technical knowledge with strong detailing, construction, and buildability awareness Experience delivering projects through traditional and design & build procurement routes Strong commercial and client-facing skills with the ability to build trusted relationships Collaborative, organised, and confident in motivating and guiding team members Ideally experienced across multiple RIBA Plan of Work stages Solid understanding of regulations, technical codes, and contractual frameworks This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Architectural Technologist to make a meaningful impact within a progressive, values-led practice working on purposeful, high-quality projects.
