Analog / Mixed-Signal ASIC Design Engineer – Stockholm – 12 Months Contract Details * Location: Stockholm (on‑site with some flexibility) * Duration: 12 months * Start date: By agreement * Rate: 1,000–1,300 SEK/hour, based on experience We’re looking to speak with freelance Analog or Mixed-Signal ASIC Design Engineers for a 12 month contract based in Stockholm. This assignment will suit someone who enjoys working across the full ASIC development lifecycle in a collaborative, engineering‑led environment. You’ll join a highly experienced technical team contributing to complex ASIC programmes from early concept through to silicon validation. The focus is on high‑quality, robust design in performance‑critical electronics. Role Overview You’ll work closely with analog, digital, system and verification engineers, contributing both at block level and system level depending on experience. Typical responsibilities include: * Contributing to overall system architecture and technical design decisions * Design and verification of analog and mixed‑signal circuit blocks * Optimisation for performance, power consumption, and reliability * Collaboration with layout, digital, and verification teams * Support through integration, tape‑out, and validation phases Required Background We’re open to contractors with varying levels of experience, provided you can operate independently in an ASIC environment. * Degree in Electronics, Engineering Physics, or similar * Commercial experience in analog ASIC or mixed‑signal IC design * Confident with simulation, verification, and debugging * Strong problem‑solving skills * Fluent in English Nice to Have (Not Essential) * Layout‑aware design experience * Exposure to digital or RF integration * Low‑power design techniques * Swedish language skills If you’re an ASIC contractor based in Sweden and open to your next project, please apply or get in touch for more details
