Estimator – High-End Residential Construction Salary: £60,000–£75,000 Location: London Our client is a London-based chartered construction company specialising in high-end residential refurbishment and bespoke building completion and finishing works. Operating as a multi-faceted contractor, they provide a tailored, one-stop service for complex residential projects, from design coordination and planning consents through to full renovation, extension, interior fit-out and turnkey delivery. With a growing portfolio of premium London homes and a strong pipeline of specialist refurbishment projects, our client is now seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team. The Role As Estimator, you will play a key role in the successful procurement and delivery of high-quality residential schemes. You will be responsible for: * Preparing accurate cost estimates and tenders for refurbishment, fit-out and bespoke residential projects * Analysing drawings, specifications and project documentation * Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations * Supporting pre-construction planning and value engineering * Working closely with project managers, quantity surveyors and design teams * Contributing to the continuous improvement of estimating processes and cost database accuracy About You The ideal candidate will have: * Proven experience as an Estimator within residential refurbishment, fit-out, or specialist construction * Strong understanding of construction methods, trades, and procurement routes * Excellent numerical, analytical and communication skills * Ability to work across multiple tenders and deliver to deadlines * Experience working with subcontractor and consultant teams * A detail-driven approach and a commitment to quality What Our Client Offers * Competitive salary of £60,000–£75,000, depending on experience * Opportunity to work on some of London’s most distinctive and design-led residential projects * A collaborative, hands-on team environment within a growing contractor * Long-term career development as the company continues to expand
