Are you an experienced Pipefitter looking for a well paid contract role with early Friday finishes and exciting, high precision engineering work? Join a leading manufacturer supporting the aerospace, defence, and marine sectors, working on high pressure pneumatic systems with a skilled and supportive team. The Role You’ll be responsible for the precision bending, fabrication, and assembly of small-bore stainless steel pipework, working to exact specifications and strict quality standards. Key duties include: * Fabricating and fitting small-bore stainless steel pipework using Swagelok and Parker fittings * Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and templates * Assembling and pressure-testing pipe systems for performance and safety * Maintaining high standards of workmanship and attention to detail Requirements * Proven experience in pipefitting and precision pipe bending * Skilled in working with small-bore stainless steel and compression fittings (Swagelok/Parker) * Ability to read and follow engineering drawings accurately * Commitment to safety, precision, and quality standards Working Hours & Contract * Schedule: Monday to Friday * Hours: 37.5 per week * Early finish every Friday! * Contract length: 6 months (with potential for extension) Pay & Benefits * Up to £40,000 per year (equivalent to £20.50/hour) * Competitive hourly rate paid weekly * Stable, consistent working hours – no weekend shifts * Opportunity to work on cutting edge engineering projects in aerospace and defence * Supportive team and modern, well-equipped workshop If you take pride in precision pipework and quality, we’d love to hear from you.
