Mechanical Fitter

This isn’t repetitive bench work — it’s hands-on assembly, testing, and problem-solving on specialist equipment used in demanding industrial environments. What you’ll be doing Mechanical assembly and testing of water manifolds, pump skids, and interconnections Installing vacuum pipelines and components, ensuring high integrity bolted joints Running pneumatic lines from valves and devices to support system performance Installing stainless steel gas lines to engineering standards Fault-finding and diagnosing mechanical issues during build and test Carrying out vacuum and pressure testing of assembled systems Supporting on-site repairs and installations at customer locations Completing additional precision mechanical assembly work as required What we’re looking for Time-served Mechanical Fitter with solid hands-on experience Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Experience working with mild steel, stainless steel, and copper Comfortable working with pneumatics and mechanical systems A practical mindset with attention to detail and quality Shift pattern Monday–Thursday: 7:30am – 4:15pm Friday: 7:30am – 12:30pm If you’re a mechanical fitter who wants interesting builds, technical variety, and a stable day-shift role, this is well worth a conversation
