Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant Bury area £95 – £115 per day Mainstream Secondary Schools Term Time Long-term & Day-to-Day Opportunities We are working in partnership with a range of inclusive and supportive secondary schools across the Bury area who are seeking Teaching Assistants / Learning Support Assistants to join their teams. These roles are ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting young people, particularly those with SEND, SEMH, or additional learning needs, and who want flexible or long-term work within secondary education. The Role: As a Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant, you may be: Supporting students 1:1 or in small groups across KS3 and KS4 Assisting pupils with SEND, SEMH, behaviour needs, or EHCPs Supporting learning within the classroom alongside teaching staff Helping students remain engaged, regulated, and motivated Providing pastoral and emotional support where required Adapting support strategies to meet individual needs Roles vary depending on the school and may include general classroom support or specialist SEND/SEMH placements.
