Job Title: Locum Practice Nurse – Flexible Two-Day Role Location: Horsham, Surrey Job Type: Locum (Ongoing for at least 6 weeks) Hours: Two days a week (flexible) Pay Rate: £25.00 - £33.00 per hour (dependent on skills, experience, and pay type) Start Date: ASAP Description: We are currently recruiting for an experienced Locum Practice Nurse to join a well-established GP surgery on a flexible two-day basis. The role is ongoing for at least 6 weeks and offers competitive pay. You will be responsible for managing long-term conditions and conducting cervical smears, among other general treatment room duties. Key Responsibilities: * General treatment room duties, including: * Long-term condition management (asthma, diabetes, COPD, etc.) * Cervical smears * Chronic disease reviews and vaccinations * Minor treatments and health checks * Delivering high-quality, patient-centered care * Proficient in System One for patient documentation and care management Key Requirements: * At least 6 months’ experience as a Practice Nurse in a UK GP surgery * Competence in long-term condition management and conducting cervical smears * Ability to work two days a week, with flexible hours * Must be available to start ASAP * Experience using System One Why Join Us? * Competitive pay (£25.00 - £33.00 per hour, based on experience and pay type) * Parking available on-site * Ongoing role for at least 6 weeks * Friendly and supportive healthcare team * Flexible working days If you are an experienced Practice Nurse looking for a flexible locum role and the opportunity to make a real impact, we would love to hear from you
