Electrical Sales Support Location: Avonmouth, Bristol Hours: Part-time – 3 days per week (08:30–17:00, 30 mins unpaid lunch) Pay Rate: £13.00 – £15.50 per hour (depending on experience) Reference: 01ELE1225 Our client, a well-established electrical business based at its Head Office in Avonmouth, is seeking a reliable and motivated Electrical Sales Support professional to join their small and collaborative team. This is a varied, hands-on role suited to an all-rounder who enjoys customer interaction, sales support, order processing, and assisting with inventory and warehouse operations. The role plays a key part in delivering a consistently high-quality customer experience and supporting long-term business growth. The Role Reporting to the Sales Director, the Electrical Sales Support role acts as a key point of contact for customers, ensuring enquiries and orders are managed accurately, professionally, and efficiently. The position focuses on developing long-term customer relationships, supporting sales activity, and ensuring smooth departmental operations. The role is offered on a 3-day per week basis, with additional hours available to cover annual leave and peak periods. Flexibility is essential due to the small team environment. There will also be opportunities to visit customer sites to build and maintain strong working relationships. Key Responsibilities * Responding to customer enquiries regarding products, pricing, availability, and delivery * Preparing accurate customer quotations, liaising with internal teams and suppliers as required * Processing customer orders from entry through to dispatch and invoicing * Generating invoices accurately and in a timely manner * Supporting the returns process, including credit/debit notes and stock control * Liaising with internal colleagues to resolve order, delivery, or customer issues * Communicating with suppliers regarding pricing, lead times, and product availability * Identifying sales and growth opportunities within new and existing customer accounts * Visiting customers to strengthen relationships and promote products * Supporting research into potential new product ranges * Assisting with general departmental and warehouse duties as required Candidate Requirements Knowledge & Skills: * Previous experience within a similar or relevant industry preferred * Confident IT user, including Microsoft Office * Strong organisational and time management skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities * Customer-focused with good commercial awareness * Flexible, adaptable, and able to manage a varied workload * Professional, discreet, and reliable * Positive, proactive “can-do” attitude * Full, clean driving licence preferred Benefits * Free on-site parking * Free on-site gym * Life assurance scheme * Employee Assistance Programme * Regular company events
