Claims Handler Location: Wyboston Job Type: Permanent, Full Time Salary: £25,000 per annum Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:30–16:30 (one Saturday in five) We are recruiting a Claims Handler on behalf of a well-established Wyboston based client. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, customer-focused individual who enjoys working in a team-oriented environment. As a Claims Handler, you will play a key role in supporting the end-to-end claims process, ensuring instructions are logged accurately, jobs are dispatched efficiently, and customers receive a high level of service throughout. Key Responsibilities: Logging information thoroughly on internal IT system Dispatching jobs accurately and updating job management systems with notes and tasks Collecting policyholder excess payments accurately and confidentially Using secure payment systems to take payments for excesses, repairs and private works Raising and issuing accurate invoices Sending customer feedback communications Answering telephone calls and emails in a professional and timely manner Ordering consumables and arranging stock distribution for engineers Keeping online portals up to date with relevant information and dates Skills & Experience Required: Courteous, professional and confident telephone manner Proactive and organised approach to work Strong computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Excellent time management and organisational skills Empathetic, discreet and customer-focused attitude Ability to work well as part of a team Please note that at times due to the volume of applications we may not be able to respond to each person individually.
