Power BI Developer


Overview Location: UK Remote (with travel to HQ or site as required) Scope of Role * Develop Power BI reports and dashboards. * Work with Azure Synapse serverless SQL, ETL/ELT, and data modelling. * Participate in requirements-gathering sessions with business and technical stakeholders. * Build and optimise Synapse serverless data structures to support analytics use cases. * Develop Power BI datasets, semantic models, and report layers aligned to defined requirements. * Implement efficient DAX calculations, Power Query transformations, and data preparation steps. * Produce reporting for commercial, operations, and manufacturing domains including SIOP, procurement, sales performance, inventory, and production. * Analyse and document data requirements using established organisational standards. * Ensure delivered work aligns with existing data governance and modelling practices. * Support users in understanding delivered datasets and reports as needed. Requirements * Minimum 3 years’ experience in Power BI development. * Strong experience with Azure Synapse serverless, SQL transformations, and data engineering workloads. * Strong experience with scripting/programming languages for automation or data processing. * High proficiency with Power Query, DAX, T-SQL, and dimensional modelling. * Hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 F&O data tables, entities, and business processes. * Experience in the Microsoft BI stack, including Power Automate. * PL-300 certification preferred but not required.
