Senior Quantity Surveyor

About the Role A well-established construction business is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. This is a genuine opportunity for you to make a real impact across diverse projects in education, healthcare, residential, and commercial sectors. This role would suit someone ready to take the next step up to a senior position. What You’ll Do Lead cost management, reporting, and forecasting for multiple projects Oversee contract administration, tendering, and procurement Identify and manage commercial risks, supporting value engineering Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to a collaborative team culture Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company proceduresWhat They’re Looking For 5–8 years’ experience in a Quantity Surveyor role within main contracting Strong commercial acumen and confident communication skills Proven ability to manage client relationships and represent the business professionally Excellent time management and prioritisation skills Proficiency in industry-standard software and IT systems Industry-recognised construction-related qualifications Experience with JCT and NEC contracts (essential) Design and build experience (desirable but not essential) Drive, enthusiasm, and a commitment to continuous improvementWhat’s on Offer Competitive salary: £45,000 – £55,000 (depending on experience) Car allowance of £4,000–£5,000 Generous holiday entitlement Flexible benefits package Support for professional development and career progression Employee wellbeing initiatives Inclusive, supportive team environmentIf you’re looking for a genuine opportunity to work for a company who truly cares for its staff and help shape the future of a respected construction business, we’d love to hear from you.
