Mechanical Fitter

Contract Mechanical  Coventry Contract length: 3 months initially, with extensions expected Rate:£19 per hour Start: Immediate (subject to DBS clearance) We’re supporting a major defence manufacturing programme in Coventry and are looking to engage experienced Mechanical Fitters aon a contract basis, with multiple positions available and a strong likelihood of extension. These roles involve hands-on work within a low-volume, high-specification vehicle build environment, supporting critical programmes with real purpose.    Key details    Responsibilities Mechanical assembly and fitting to engineering drawings Working to defined quality, safety, and production standards Supporting prototype and production vehicle builds Collaborating closely with production and engineering teams What we’re looking for Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or Electrical Technician Background in automotive, defence, military vehicles, or complex assemblies Ability to read and work from technical drawings and schematics Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship Military or ex-forces experience is highly desirable
