Packaging Buyer Are you a commercially-savvy buyer with a passion for sustainability, cost optimization, and building strong supplier partnerships? We’re looking for a Packaging Buyer to join a high-growth, market-leading packaging manufacturer, helping shape smarter sourcing strategies across our portfolio. Why join? You’ll play a key role in ensuring we source a variety of packaging materials, at the right price, at the right time while driving innovation, improving quality, and reducing environmental impact. What you’ll be doing * Manage end-to-end purchasing for packaging materials and components * Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service levels with suppliers * Identify and onboard new suppliers to support growth and innovation * Track market trends, commodity pricing, and risk factors * Collaborate closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and R&D * Monitor supplier performance, cost, quality, OTIF and compliance * Support sustainability initiatives and cost-reduction projects * Maintain accurate purchasing data, forecasts, and reports What we’re looking for * Experience in procurement or buying, ideally within packaging, manufacturing, FMCG, or similar * Strong negotiation and supplier relationship skills * Comfortable analyzing data, costs, and contracts * Organized, detail-driven, and proactive problem solver * Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment * Familiarity with ERP systems and purchasing processes What’s on offer * Competitive salary + performance incentives * Opportunities for career growth and development * A supportive, forward-thinking team culture * Exposure to sustainability, innovation, and strategic sourcing projects Interested they please speak with Brian Haigh
