Site Engineer – Water Treatment Scheme | Manchester The Client and Project Info: My client is a leading Civil Engineering Contractor who are currently recruiting a Site Engineer to work on a major water treatment scheme in Manchester. The project involves delivering key infrastructure works within a live water environment, requiring strong engineering and setting-out experience. Site Engineer Responsibilities: * Setting out and surveying works in accordance with drawings and specifications. * Assisting with the delivery of civil works on a water treatment project. * Ensuring works are completed in line with programme and quality requirements. * Managing and maintaining accurate site records, including as-built drawings. * Working closely with the Site Manager and Project Manager. * Coordinating with subcontractors and ensuring works are carried out safely. * Carrying out QA checks and completing inspection test plans (ITPs). * Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. Site Engineer Requirements: * Previous experience working as a Site Engineer on civil engineering projects. * Experience on water treatment, wastewater, or utilities projects is essential. * Strong setting out and surveying skills. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. * CSCS card. * SMSTS or SSSTS (advantageous but not essential). * Good communication and organisational skills.
