Groundworks Foreman

We're looking for an experienced Groundworks Foreman to lead a residential development project in Sturminster Newton. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in high‑quality work, can manage a small team efficiently, and keeps sites safe, productive, and well organised. Key Responsibilities Oversee all groundworks operations on a busy residential site Manage and coordinate trades, labour, and subcontractors Ensure work is completed to spec, on time, and to a high standard Read and interpret site drawings Maintain health & safety standards and site compliance Communicate progress and issues with site management Problem‑solve on the ground to keep the project moving Requirements Proven experience as a Groundworks Foreman or Groundworks Supervisor Strong knowledge of residential civils and infrastructure CSCS card essential SSSTS/SMSTS preferred Ability to lead and motivate a team Reliable, organised, and confident making decisions on site What's on Offer Up to £280 per day, depending on experience Long‑term project consistency Supportive site team and well‑structured project Opportunity to take ownership of a key phase of the build
