New Business Account Handler Maidstone, Hybrid | £30,000 - £36,000 | Permanent A growing and high-performing insurance broker is seeking an experienced New Business Account Handler to join their expanding Corporate & Commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your specialist expertise within Motor Trade insurance, working with warm leads, building relationships, and securing new business opportunities. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a commercial environment, enjoys client interaction, and can confidently convert leads into long-term partnerships. What You’ll Be Doing Convert incoming warm leads and generate your own pipeline to achieve new business targets Work closely with an Account Executive to build winning new-business strategies Attend client meetings as required and support with follow-up actions Conduct market exercises to source competitive terms Ensure premiums are collected correctly and in line with internal procedures Maintain accurate records, correspondence, and documentation within Acturis Produce high-quality, professional documentation using company templates Cross-sell insurance products across other divisions Escalate complex queries to senior colleagues where necessary Knowledge & Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience providing specialist advice within the insurance market Working knowledge of General Insurance classes, CII Code of Ethics, and GDPR Understanding of Motor Trade or High Net Worth Motor insurance (desirable) Acturis experience (preferred) The Offer Salary up to £36,000 Monday–Friday, 9:00–17:00 Hybrid working – average 3 days a week onsite in Maidstone Occasional UK travel for client meetings or training Excellent benefits package
