Housing Officer Birmingham, West Midlands (Hybrid) 3-6 month contract Immediate start £23.00 - £25.00 per hour Are you an experienced Housing Officer looking for your next opportunity? Think Recruitment are working with a leading provider of affordable housing in Birmingham to recruit a proactive and dedicated Housing Officer to join their team on a temporary basis. As a Housing Officer, you will be responsible for: Managing a varied caseload of general needs housing properties Conducting estate inspections, tenancy audits, and addressing breaches Providing guidance and support to residents, ensuring positive tenancy sustainment Responding to reports of ASB and working with relevant agencies to resolve issues Handling low-level arrears and signposting tenants for financial or wellbeing support Maintaining accurate records and delivering excellent customer service at all times You will need: Previous experience in tenancy management or a similar housing role Strong knowledge of housing legislation and best practice Excellent communication and problem-solving skills The ability to work autonomously as well as part of a supportive team A customer-focused approach and commitment to positive outcomes for residentsIf you're ready to make an immediate impact and support communities across Birmingham, we'd love to hear from you.
