Site Manager

Vacancy: Site Manager (Trainee positions will be considered; prior experience in the construction sector is essential) The ideal candidate will be hands-on, with a strong trade background and the ability to operate at site level. Company JPROJECTS Ltd is a medium-sized main contractor specialising in commercial refurbishment and alteration works across the Office, Industrial, Healthcare, Retail, and Education sectors. Role & Responsibilities Due to continued growth, we are looking to expand our Site Management team. We pride ourselves on being a friendly and sociable business, while maintaining a strong work ethic and consistently delivering high-quality projects. Projects typically range in value from £50k to £3 million. The majority of work is based in Bristol and the South West. Occasionally, projects may be located further afield and could require overnight stays (rare). Key responsibilities include: * Managing site operations to ensure projects are delivered on time, to quality standards, and in line with health & safety requirements * Chairing and attending supplier and client meetings * Reading, understanding, and implementing drawings, scopes of work, and specifications * Coordinating subcontractors and suppliers * Maintaining excellent communication with all stakeholders * Remaining hands-on when required, including assisting with certain site tasks Candidate Requirements * Proven experience in commercial refurbishment projects * Trade background preferred * Excellent communication and organisational skills * Relevant and up-to-date qualifications, including (but not limited to): * SMSTS * First Aid * Asbestos Awareness * Willingness to be flexible and proactive on site Junior and trainee applicants with relevant construction experience and a desire to progress into site or project management will also be considered. Salary & Benefits * £30,000 – £50,000 per annum, depending on experience and suitability * Pension scheme * Sign-written company van Start Date Immediate start available or TBA.
