Design & Production Engineer

Job Role: Design & Production Engineer Location: Daventry Salary: £37,000 per annum Metalis are currently working with a well-established manufacturer who are looking for a Design & Production Engineer to join their team. Job Duties: Generate and develop CAD concepts using CATIA V5 Create detailed CAD models and drawings Finalise design for production release Develop and validate process flow, PFMEA, control plans and SOP's Resolve design and process issues promptly Present design proposals and solutions in review meetings Review first off parts with the quality team Implement design or process adjustments as required Heading up continuous improvements activities Job Requirements: Degree or HND in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Production Engineering (or equivalent) Skilled in CATIA V5 Knowledge of GD&T Experience using quality management systems Familiar with APQP, PFMEA, control plans and lean manufacturing methods Automotive experience (preferred) Salary & Shift: £37,000 per annum Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30am If this role is of interest to you, please apply with your CV
