Paint Mixing Operative

JOB TITLE - PAINT MIXING OPERATIVE Location: Birmingham Type: Permanent Salary: £27,000 - £29,000 Job Summary: We are currently representing a role on behalf of our client based in the Birmingham region. * In this position your main responsibility will be tinting colour paints according to the given recipe, production specifications and schedules. Main Duties: * Tinting the materials according to the given recipe. * Retain samples and to keep batch wise data for future references following SOP’s. * Maintaining the machinery (Dispensers, mixers, shakers) clean and in working condition. Report faulty equipment to Blending Supervisor. * Maintenance of safe operating procedures through complete knowledge of safety rules and lab procedures. * Conduct projects from design through implementation by effectively organizing, planning, delegating, coordinating. * Follow all waste management procedures. Person Specification: * High level of accuracy. * Responsible and autonomous in working. * Knowledge of the Paint or Coatings industry. * Ideally a background with Quality control. * Willingness to learn. * Computer literate
