Temporary School Cook & Chef Location :Birmingham & West Midlands area Shifts :Mon – Fri 7-3 / 8-4pm Salary : £16.00ph We a seeking a number of experience Chef and Cooks to work with us on a temporary basis to support our clients around the Birmingham & West Midlands area. Role Overview: As Chef or Cook, you’ll be responsible for managing day-to-day catering operations, leading a team, ensuring compliance, and driving service standards. You’ll work closely with Business Manager and staff to deliver high-quality, cost-effective catering solutions. Key Responsibilities: ·Oversee all aspects of catering service delivery ·Preparing and cooking nutritious meals for customers ·Manage and motivate kitchen and front-of-house teams ·Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations ·Monitor budgets, stock control, and supplier relationships ·Liaise with clients to tailor menus and service to their needs ·Drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction Requirements: ·Proven experience in a catering management role ·Strong leadership and organisational skills ·Excellent communication and client-facing abilities ·Knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety standards ·Flexibility to work across multiple sites or events if required What We Offer: ·Competitive salary ·Supportive team environment ·Varied and rewarding role with autonomy If you’re passionate about great food, team leadership, and delivering outstanding customer experiences, we’d love to hear from you.
