AHU Engineer

HVAC Engineer My client provides applied HVAC products for data centres, typically air handling units and chilled water systems. They are looking for a Lead Engineer based in Ireland to visit customer sites to assist with the commissioning, fault finding and after-care of equipment installations. The role will also involve 20% travel to Europe and the UK Package: Total earnings in the region of €80,000 - €90,000 Base salary in the region of €60,000 40 hours per week plus over-time paid at 1.5x rate Unsociable hours bonus €4,000 Travel and vehicle allowance Requirements: Proven experience as an HVAC Engineer or an Electrician with strong AHU, chiller and controls experience Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, including cooling, ventilation, and air distribution Familiarity with commissioning processes, test procedures, and relevant standards Key Responsibilities: Perform commissioning, testing, and validation of HVAC systems within data centres Conduct functional performance testing and system calibration Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to HVAC systems Prepare and review commissioning documentation, including reports and testing records Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless integration of HVAC systems Ensure compliance with safety and industry regulations Provide training and technical support to site teams as needed WR HVAC | M&E are #1 recruitment partner for HVAC jobs.
