HR Administrator Location: Doncaster Contract: Permanent role Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday–Friday) About the Business SARIA’s UK operations have a market-leading presence across a wide range of sectors associated with the food chain. The Group’s companies manufacture quality products for use in human and animal foodstuffs, agriculture, aquaculture, and industrial applications. SARIA also produces biofuels and renewable energy and provides essential services for farming and the food industry. With a UK annual turnover approaching £320 million, SARIA employs approximately 750 people across 15 sites nationwide. The Role We are seeking an experienced HR Administrator to join our Human Resources Team based at our Doncaster site. This is an excellent opportunity to support a busy HR function within a large, well-established organisation. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support across all areas of HR and play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Key Responsibilities Assist with HR processes including absence management and new starter/leaver administration Create and maintain accurate electronic personnel files, ensuring compliance with GDPR Complete HR administration tasks such as: New starter documentation and Right to Work checks References (incoming and outgoing) Healthcare letters and occupational health referrals Ad hoc HR correspondence Maintain HR spreadsheets, trackers, and produce reports as required Arrange meetings and related activities, including notifications to employees and managers Provide HR support during formal absence meetings and low-level investigations, including minute-taking Support the L&D Coordinator with training administration and scheduling Process invoices, obtain approvals, and liaise with Finance Carry out general HR administrative duties, including filing and post handling Undertake ad hoc duties as required The Person Essential: GCSE Grade C / Level 4 or equivalent in Maths and English Ideally have2 years’ experience in an HR, or similar, administrative role Strong diligence and initiative-taking approach Excellent written and verbal communication skills Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to manage workload effectively and work with discretion Understanding of Equality & Diversity, GDPR, and Employment Law Desirable: Ambitions to achieve HR Foundation Certificate in Human Resource Practice (Level 3) Salary & Benefits 💼 c £28k plus company benefits How to Apply Please apply in writing with a CV and covering letter to: HR Department Ings Road Doncaster DN5 9TL 📧 Or email: (url removed) Closing Date: 16/1/2026 Please note: Due to the high volume of applications received, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted
