Field Service & Installation Engineer – Electrical & Mechanical Location: West Midlands depot (UK-wide travel required) Pay Rate: £15.00 – £19.00 per hour DOE + overtime + paid travel + overnight allowance Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Contacts: Emily Powell | Sammy Messenger PLEASE NOTE: WE ARE UNABLE TO OFFER SPONSORSHIP FOR THIS ROLE. Pearson Whiffin Recruitment is working in partnership with a respected UK manufacturer delivering large-scale air handling, ventilation and building services systems across commercial and industrial environments. This is a hands-on, site-based role for an engineer who is comfortable with a predominantly mechanical position (approximately 70% mechanical assembly and installation), supported by electrical installation, wiring and testing (approximately 30%). Candidates must be happy working across both disciplines. The Role Carry out mechanical assembly, installation and fitting of large air handling and ventilation systems Support electrical installation work including wiring, termination, testing and fault-finding Work on motors, pumps, isolators and associated control equipment Assist with on-site mechanical build, alignment and commissioning activities Collaborate with fellow engineers to deliver projects safely and efficiently Travel across the UK with regular overnight stays (overnight allowance paid) Complete job documentation, service reports and commissioning records Overtime & Travel Weekdays: x1.33 Saturdays: x1.5 Sundays: x1.75 Paid door-to-door travel plus a £45 overnight allowance paid weekly. This role offers excellent earning potential for engineers who enjoy nationwide project work.
