This is a core function of the role, requiring hands-on involvement in attracting, screening, and onboarding new talent Key Responsibilities: Candidate Sourcing & Screening: Act as the first point of contact for potential employees by professionally conducting initial telephone screenings. Successfully shortlisted candidates will progress to formal, face-to-face or virtual interviews, which the Assistant will be responsible for meticulously scheduling and coordinating. Job Advertisement: Manage and execute the regular posting and reposting of vacant positions across a variety of online job portals, ensuring advertisements are accurately presented, compliant, and reach the widest possible pool of qualified candidates. Compliance & Documentation: Take full ownership of the vetting process, which includes managing the thorough completion of employment application forms, initiating and tracking Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks, and overseeing all other mandatory compliance and vetting requirements essential for the healthcare industry. Reference & Follow-up: Proactively check and verify references for all new applicants. Additionally, prepare and process employment references for former employees with accuracy and speed.
