Cover Supervisor


Location: Sutton & Croydon Start Date: January Daily Rate: £90–£120 (dependent on experience) The role offers full flexibility, allowing you to choose: The days you work The areas you are happy to travel to Short-term or ongoing assignments About the role Supervising classes in the absence of the teacher Delivering set work and ensuring students remain on task Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies Supporting pupils’ learning and engagement Working across multiple schools within the trust (based on your availability) About the school You will be working within a successful and well-respected multi academy trust known for high standards, strong leadership, and supportive staff cultures. The secondary academies within the trust: Have clear behaviour systems and consistent expectations Are well-resourced with strong pastoral support Offer a welcoming environment for visiting staff Are easily accessible via public transport across South London Requirements To be considered for the role of Cover Supervisor you will: Have a confident classroom presence and strong communication skills Be reliable, adaptable, and professional Have a genuine interest in supporting young people’s learning Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
