Join one the UK’s specialist engineering company. We need the candidate to have a strong mechanical knowledge and that can work manual Vertical Borer machines . This role requires precision and attention to detail, as you will be responsible for fabricating components and ensuring they meet the required specifications The Job * Operate vertical boring machines to produce high-quality components * Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy in fabrication * Perform milling operations as necessary, ensuring adherence to safety protocols * Conduct materials handling and assembly tasks as part of the production process * Use hand tools effectively for adjustments and repairs on machinery * Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations * Collaborate with team members to improve production efficiency and quality About you * Proven experience in fabrication, machining, or a related field * Familiarity with Webster Bennetts machines would be desirable but not essential * Previous warehouse experience is an asset, particularly in materials handling and assembly tasks * Be able to operate manual machines such as vertical borer, lathes, mills and grinders to machine precision parts * Knowledge of welding techniques is beneficial but not essential The company An established successful manufacturer based near Rochdale • Hourly rate of £17.51 inc shift allowance • A day shift may be considered as a preference • Free onsite parking • Hours of work week one Monday to Friday 5.30am -2pm rotating Monday to Thursday 2pm- 10.30 pm Next Steps If you have the required skills and experience and would like more information, please send your CV in confidence to Tracey McDermott at TRF Technical a specialist division of The Recruitment Fix Ltd
