Job Title: General Foreman Location: Scotland Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + Company Vehicle + Additional Benefits Industry: Civil Engineering / Infrastructure Overview: A leading civil engineering contractor in Scotland is seeking an experienced General Foreman to oversee large-scale infrastructure projects, focusing on earthworks and groundworks. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing site operations, ensuring safety, quality, and timely project delivery. Willingness to travel across Scotland is essential. Key Responsibilities: Site Management: Supervise daily site activities, ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to timelines. Earthworks & Groundworks: Manage earthworks and groundworks operations for large infrastructure projects. Team Leadership: Lead site teams and subcontractors to ensure high performance and safety. Project Coordination: Work closely with Project Managers to ensure efficient use of resources and equipment. Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any site issues, minimising delays. Reporting: Maintain accurate site records and report on project progress. Key Requirements: Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience as a Foreman in earthworks and groundworks on large-scale infrastructure projects. Leadership: Strong team leadership and management skills. Health & Safety: Knowledge of safety standards and relevant certifications (CSCS, SSSTS, SMSTS). Travel: Must be willing to travel across Scotland to various sites.
