Key Information: * Start dates: January 2026 * Full-time and part-time roles available * Working hours: 8.30am-3.30pm, weekdays only * Pay between £150-£300 per day, depending on experience and role * Opportunities for short-term, long-term, or potential permanent contracts We are looking for History Teachers who: * Have a passion for education and History, and can make the subject engaging for students aged 11-18 * Build positive relationships with students and colleagues * Demonstrate strong classroom management and clear communication skills * Show enthusiasm, creativity, and a genuine love for teaching * Can inspire curiosity and critical thinking through innovative and inclusive lessons Essential Requirements: * Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or have recent experience teaching History at secondary level * Hold an enhanced DBS Disclosure and provide overseas police clearances (if applicable) * Provide professional reference checks (completed on your behalf) * CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible * Hold the legal right to work in the UK If you're ready to take the next step in your teaching career as a History Teacher in Swindon, we'd love to hear from you.
