PMLD Teaching Assistant

PMLD Teaching Assistant - Secondary Greenwich | £95-£115 per day | Full-Time | ASAP Start We are seeking a patient, proactive and resilient PMLD Teaching Assistant to support secondary-aged students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties in a specialist SEND school in Greenwich. You will be helping students with complex physical, communication and sensory needs to access learning, develop independence and thrive in a nurturing environment. What you'll be doing: * 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with PMLD and complex medical needs * Assisting with sensory learning, engagement and therapy-led activities * Supporting personal care and safe moving & handling (training provided) * Using alternative communication systems (e.g. PECs, Eye Gaze) * Promoting emotional regulation and positive behaviour What we're looking for: * Experience with PMLD/SLD/complex needs (school or care setting) * Confident with personal care and mobility support * Calm, empathetic and physically active * Team-Teach or similar training beneficial (or willing to complete) If you're passionate about helping vulnerable learners achieve their fullest potential, apply today - trial days available immediately
