The school is seeking a dedicated HLTA to join their team from January. About the Role As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant you will play a key role in supporting teaching, learning and pupil development across the school. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident practitioner who is passionate about helping children thrive both academically and emotionally. Your responsibilities will include: Leading small-group interventions and 1:1 support Delivering planned lessons and covering classes in teacher absence Supporting pupils with diverse needs, including SEND Helping to plan, prepare and adapt learning materials Promoting positive behaviour, engagement and independence Working collaboratively with teachers, support staff and external agencies Contributing to a safe, encouraging and inclusive school environment Job Requirements HLTA status (or significant experience working at HLTA level) Confident classroom practice and strong behaviour management Experience supporting learners in KS1 and/or KS2 A patient, nurturing and resilient approach Excellent communication and teamwork skills A genuine passion for supporting pupil progress and wellbeing
