SEN Teacher

SEN Teacher - Stevenage We're working with a fantastic specialist setting in Stevenage who are looking for an experienced SEN Teacher to join them. This is a long-term role with potential to go permanent for the right person. About the role: Teaching small classes of KS3/KS4 pupils with ASD, ADHD and additional learning needs Planning and delivering adapted lessons to meet EHCP targets Working closely with therapists, SENCO and support staff Creating a structured, calm learning environment where pupils feel safe and supported What they're looking for: Qualified Teacher (QTS or QTLS) Strong SEN experience, ideally ASD/SEMH Confident adapting the curriculum for lower-ability learners Someone patient, resilient and able to build trust quickly Pay: Paid to scale (MPS/UPS depending on experience) Start: ASAP or January APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR VERITAS EDUCATION All applications are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, professional reference checks, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) in line with our stringent safeguarding policy Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and all employment breaks must be explained You must have legal right to work in the UK You must be willing to attend a registration interviewVeritas Education work with a variety of schools covering a wide geographical area.
