Mechanical Project Engineer

Location: Frankfurt, Germany Start Date: January 2026 Shift Pattern: 10 days on / 4 days off (onsite) Number of Positions: 2 About the Role We are seeking two experienced Mechanical Project Engineers to join our client on a major data centre construction project in Frankfurt. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading mechanical contractor on a high-profile build, ensuring the successful delivery of complex mechanical systems. Key Responsibilities * Oversee and coordinate mechanical works on-site, ensuring compliance with design specifications and project timelines. * Review and interpret mechanical design drawings and specifications. * Liaise with design teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to resolve technical issues. * Monitor installation quality and ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards. * Support commissioning activities and handover documentation. * Provide technical input and problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle. Requirements * Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline. * Proven experience in mechanical project engineering within data centre or pharma/life sciences environments. * Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and systems (HVAC, chilled water, etc.). * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, large-scale construction environment. * Excellent communication and coordination skills. * Fluent in English; German language skills are an advantage.
