Multi-Skilled Engineer - Nights - Food Manufacturing This is an excellent opportunity for a Multi-Skilled Engineer - Nights to join the Engineering & Manufacturing department within the food & beverage manufacturing industry. The role is based in East London and requires an individual with technical expertise and problem-solving skills to ensure the smooth operation of equipment and systems. Client Details The organisation is a well-established, medium-sized company food & beverage manufacturing industry. Description * Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and machinery during night shifts. * Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues effectively. * Ensure all engineering operations comply with health and safety regulations. * Collaborate with other departments to minimise downtime and improve operational efficiency. * Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance. * Carry out inspections to identify potential issues and implement preventive measures. * Assist in the installation and testing of new machinery or upgrades. * Provide support during emergency breakdowns to ensure minimal disruption to operations. Profile A successful Multi-Skilled Engineer - Nights should have: * Relevant qualifications in engineering or a related field. * Strong technical skills in both mechanical and electrical engineering. * Experience working within the engineering and manufacturing sector, ideally in the a FMCG Manufacturing site. * Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing a range of equipment and systems. * Knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance requirements. * Ability to work effectively during night shifts and in a team environment. * A proactive approach to identifying and solving technical problems. * Good communication and record-keeping skills. * Comfortable working 12 hour night shifts, rotating 3 days and 4 days on/off. * Commutable to East London and have full permanent right to work in the UK.
