Repairs Administrator


A growing housing provider in Hertfordshire is seeking a Resident Services Officer to join their collaborative team. This is a chance to make a real impact by supporting residents and ensuring repairs and maintenance services run smoothly. Key Responsibilities * Act as the first point of contact for resident enquiries (phone, email, face‑to‑face, webchat). * Diagnose and schedule repairs using specialist IT systems. * Coordinate works with internal teams and external contractors. * Plan and allocate work for maintenance operatives to ensure efficiency. * Respond to and resolve resident repair complaints. * Process invoices and manage contractor communications. * Support colleagues with resident issues and tenancy processes. What We’re Looking For * Strong customer service skills and excellent communication. * Proven experience in repairs administration or scheduling, ideally within housing or property services. * Good IT skills and ability to learn new systems quickly. * Organised, reliable, and able to work under pressure. * Team player who can also work independently with initiative. Desirable: Knowledge of housing management services, repairs, and maintenance processes
