Temporary Farm Operatives – Christmas Turkey Plucking! Location: Harlow Start Date: 8 December 2025 (Seasonal – up to Christmas) Pay Rate: £12.61 per hour (weekly pay) Hours: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm (Monday to Friday, including weekends as required) Benefits: Free on-site parking Role Overview We’re seeking hardworking, reliable individuals to join our seasonal team as Farm Operatives for the busy Christmas period. You’ll play a key role in preparing turkeys for market by carefully plucking feathers by hand and maintaining high standards of hygiene and animal handling. (full training will be provided) Key Responsibilities Carefully hand-pluck feathers from turkeys Handle birds gently to avoid damage to meat and skin Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards at all times Meet daily production targets efficiently Assist with setting up and cleaning equipment before and after use Candidate Requirements Physically fit and willing to work in a hands-on environment Flexible with working hours (including weekends) during the busy festive period Reliable and committed to completing the full Christmas season A driving licence is preferred (due to multiple farm locations in Harlow)
